Apple and Carrot Yogurt Freezer Bites recipe

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup grated carrot
• 1/2 cup plain unsweetened applesauce
• 1/2 cup plain unsweetened Greek yogurt

Method

1. Stir applesauce, finely grated carrot and plain yogurt together until evenly combined.
2. Spoon into small molds supported on a tray.
3. Freeze for about four hours, or until fully set. Remove only the portion needed and let it soften before serving.

How should I serve it?

Offer a small, manageable portion under supervision. Treats and toppers supplement regular food; they do not replace a complete diet. Ask your veterinarian before introducing this recipe if your dog has food allergies, a medical condition or a prescribed diet.
