Ingredients

• 1 lb lean ground turkey
• 1 cup cottage cheese
• 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
• 1/4 cup blueberries
• 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
• 1 tablespoon chopped curly parsley
• 1/2 teaspoon egg shell powder (optional) — only if veterinarian-directed; otherwise omit
• 1 teaspoon salmon oil (optional) — only if veterinarian-directed; otherwise omit

Method

1. Cook the turkey in a plain nonstick pan, breaking it up, until a food thermometer reads 165°F / 74°C.
2. Let it cool, then combine with pumpkin and cottage cheese.
3. Fold in blueberries, flaxseed and curly parsley. Portion a small amount over the usual food and refrigerate the remainder.
